Verruca (King of the Demon Rats)An anthropomorphic and elegant Villain; a distant cousin of Dracula.

Squeakle & Snide (Verruca’s Rat Henchmen)Comedy Villain Double-Act with rat-like features. Not as evil or demonic as they make out to be and unbelievably dim.

Dame Dainty (The Sugar Plum Fairy) / Fraü Ninja Nussknacker (A toyshop owner)  The Dame, obviously. Outrageously costumed in both these roles. (Roles must be played by same actor)

King Lolly (King of The Land of Sweets) Typical Pantomime King; crown at a jaunty angle, with Lollipops instead of jewel. Should be smaller than his slightly domineering wife!

Queen Popsy (His Wife) The Boss!

Jellybean (The Court Jester)

Prince Loveheart (Our Hero!) Our Principal Boy! Slightly arrogant; devil-may-care, all legs and very few brain-cells.

Miasma (The Mouse Queen) Another anthropomorphic Villain!

Clara (An Urchin) Our Principal Girl and the obvious brains of the outfit.

Herr Drossel  (A Toymaker) Sympathetic yet humorous character.

Hans (Herr Drossel’s Apprentice)
