Villainous Sir Phineas Fankle suffers the pangs of unrequited love. Little Bo Peep has spurned his amorous advances, preferring the rugged charms of the penniless Geordie "Boy Blue". Nothing daunted, Fankle enlists the aid of two itinerant hoodlums, Numpty Nick and Ramstam Rob. Out to foil his dastardly schemes and make an honest man of the villain is the eccentric Irish Faerie, Bridie Blarney. Lively Widow Petunia Peep, and even Nick and Rob, unwittingly help her to give Fankle his well-earned come-uppance.
