In this New Version of the much-loved Pantomime story, “Babes in the Wood”, tells the tale of Orphans Heather and Rowan, whose wicked Stepmother Baroness Effluvia Nightshade, wife of the late Baron Dudley Nightshade, plots to have them abandoned and “disposed” off! The Baron has left them a fortune in his Will, so she schemes to nick the lot. Perhaps they could be lured into the Enchanted Woodland and left to the “mercy” of Wolfsbane, the Demon of the Woods, and his Henchmen Sloeworm and Slug? Unfortunately for her, Faerie Forget-Me-Not’s on the case, along with The Babes’ older cousin Marian, their Nanny Nurse Dumpling and the Greatest Hero of Them All - Robin Hood, accompanied by his Magical Merry Men! So, step back in time to the magical “Village of Thistledown” for an Adventure with Dire Deeds, Deathly Danger and Derring-do… And maybe a “Harlequin” or two.
