Ali Baba (Our Hero!) The Principal Boy; thigh-slapping and slightly dim. Stylised rags and patches.

Olly Bebop (His trusty Donkey) Fez wearing Panto Donkey; given to dancing at the most inappropriate moments.
 
Cheepin’ Nasti (A Villainous Vulture) Sneaky and laid-back; half “vulture”, with lots of street cred.
 

Zumac (An Evil Genie) Evil and Envy personified!

Bella Tinkle (The Genie-al Dame) The Dame; nice line in disparaging remarks and one-liners. The usual array of ludicrous “Dame” outfits and disguises, and as Script. Carries a small wand.

Saphira The Boss! Sapphire robe, sapphire Wand and a sapphire Turban.

Claude & Alphonse Comic Baddies; silly, accident-prone Tartars.

Azgarak (Their Cut-Throat Chieftain)The Principal Villain! “Tartar” Costume; moustache, eye patch and scar.

Amira  (Ali Baba’s Beloved)The Principal Girl; sweet and slightly more practical than Ali; the obvious brains of the relationship.

Kassim Baba (Ali’s wicked Uncle) Minor Villain, with phoney bonhomie. Somewhat oleaginous in the presence of the Sultana.

Fatima (The Shahbanu of Samarkand) Outwardly haughty and aloof; but really a wee bit of a softie at heart. Costume at Director’s discretion.

Thoth (Guardian of the grotto) An Egyptian Mummy, with musty, green “bandages”.
