Our Pantos

What are you looking for in a
Panto script? Lots of fun? Groan-worthy jokes? Those awful puns and familiar
routines we all love? Dreadful rhyming couplets? Good old-fashioned slapstick?
All the traditional elements blended in a strong story line and laced with an
original twist? A complete and utter sense of the ridiculous?
Then take a closer look at our offerings.
Some Pantos like Sherbert Dipp, an affectionate
spoof of Sherlock Holmes, are entirely new creations. Others such as Ali
Baba and Sleeping Beauty and the Beast are loosely based on
Victorian scripts first performed at Edinburgh's Theatre Royal. Cinderella is based on Celtic myths and
legends and Sinbad
is inspired by tales in the Arabian Nights. More recent scripts like The Snow
Queen and The Emperor's New Clothes offer a new slant on the
traditional tales of Hand Christian Anderson.
Since we are both Scottish born and resident, our scripts
were originally created for local audiences, but are now available in UK versions suitable anywhere. For Scottish groups or ex-pats, some scripts are
still available in Scottish versions. Other scripts can be adapted to suit. Suggested musical numbers and parody lyrics are also
availableand all our scripts are regularly updated.
