The Adventures of Dick Whittington 

Once upon a time, in a fanciful and fairytale 14th Century, young orphan Dick Whittington sets off for Old London Town, in search of fame and fortune. He believes the streets are paved with gold – so why shouldn’t he get some of it? But, unfortunately for him, his nemesis Big Al Mascarpone, King of all the Rats, and his half-wit Henchmen, Whiffy and Mouldy, are soon on his trail! Loosely based upon this most famous and popular Pantomime Story, “The Adventures of Dick Whittington” introduces all your favourite Panto Characters – Alderman Fitzwarren, his beautiful daughter Alice, his silly apprentice Idle Jack… and not forgetting his cook, Dame Sponge [“Call me Victoria!”]. But this time around we also get to meet a Magical Talking Cat, some very streetwise Fairies and the Emperor of China … A kindly old soul with a very magical secret of his own! Will the evil King Rat get one over on Dick Whittington? Will Dick Whittington ever find fame and fortune and get one over on King Rat? And will Dame Sponge ever get her hooks into Idle Jack?
