Ali Baba &
The Cave of Doom
or
The Blaggers Opera
Take one itinerant
Woodcutter, a beautiful servant, a sneaky Grand Vizier, a love-sick Sultana, a
cut-throat villain and two idiotic robbers, add a few Genies - both good and bad
- mix in several exotic locations and hey presto! You have a laughter-filled,
knockabout, "must see", family Pantomime. Based on a tale in The
Arabian Nights - with the gorier passages edited out - it tells how our Hero
overcomes his deepest fears, faces danger, defeats the Forty Thieves... well,
three of them actually (we never get to see the other thirty-seven)... and gets
the Girl!
(14 Principals & Chorus)

heartily recommend in to panto-goers of all ages" - Arbroath
